Memorial Plaque

to commemorate service personnel lost in the two world wars

The Parish Council has commissioned a Memorial Plaque to commemorate those servicemen and women who lost their lives in the two world wars, and who lived or were associated with the villages of Yapton or Ford. The following names will be included on the plaque:

Yapton Parish Council is holding a Ceremony for the Unveiling and Dedication of the plaque on 20th September 2015 from 2:30pm, at the Yapton and Ford Village Hall, Main Road, Yapton. The Ceremony will be at 3pm. A Reception of light refreshments will follow the Ceremony.

The Council would be particularly pleased if residents of those whose names are to be commemorated on the plaque would be able to join them at the Ceremony.
