Pubs
For much of the 19th and the 20th centuries Yapton was home to four pubs: The Lamb Inn, The Shoulder of Mutton and Cucumbers, The Black Dog, and The Maypole Inn.
However the race for ever more housing and changing social habits in the 21st century means only one remains.
