Probate Inventory of William Cooke

Probate Records are court records dealing with the distribution of a person's estate after death. Experienced valuers would assess the value of all of a person's possessions to determine the total value of their estate.

This is translation of part of the Inventory of the "Goods and Chattells" of William Cooke, a tailor, who died in Yapton and was buried in the Churchyard on 3rd March 1641.
